CDMI renewed for another 5 years!

Updated: Jun 3, 2020

We are pleased to announce that CDMI has been renewed by NSF for another 5 years! Phase II research activities started in December 2019 and will continue through November 2024. During Phase II, the CDMI will significantly expand its impact via integration of data and expertise spanning the manufacturing, insurance, healthcare, and office work environments. Collectively, these efforts will result in healthier Americans and a stronger and more-competitive U.S. economy.

"We look forward to continuing growth of this vibrant Industry/University collaboration that provides companies unique access to university faculty, trainees, and technologies, and provides our partnered universities access to resources and expertise to support student training in industry-inspired fundamental research.” -Dr. Jeffrey Lotz, CDMI Site Director for University of California, San Francisco.
