Reflecting on a Decade of CDMI - Thank You for your Contributions!
On behalf of the CDMI Directors, Industry Advisory Board, and operations teams, we want to express our sincere appreciation for your partnership and contributions throughout the past decade.
The Fall Symposium, held virtually in October 2024, marked a moment of celebration and reflection on a decade of impactful collaboration and scientific achievements. A highlight of the event was a heartfelt tribute to the late Dr. Vijay Goel, former UT site director, whose profound contributions and leadership have left an enduring legacy.
As a center, the CDMI has funded over 60 projects, published 144 papers, and collaborated with 30 IAB member companies and 92 trainees. The center has funded close to $4 million in musculoskeletal disorder (MSD) research projects, contributing data on incidence, pathomechanisms, treatment outcomes, and costs to help develop new technologies for MSD prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
As CDMI concludes, we take pride in the center’s contributions to the field and the research community. While this chapter has closed, we look forward to seeing the lasting impact of CDMI’s work for years to come. We greatly appreciate NSF’s support over the years.
Thank you for being part of CDMI’s journey!
